Senior Staff - FIRE Light Group, Inc.

Sandra Daniel, President & CEO

Role: She is responsible for the overall management and strategic direction of the firm with support from her incredibly diverse and talented team. She is involved in many national forums related to the incentive industry including the Incentive Research Foundation (IRF) where she serves on the baord as a trustee and also on the Research Committee, the Society of Incentive Travel Executives (SITE), ASI, Forum for People Performance Management and other related organizations. Her background in strategic planning and marketing allows her to consult with corporations and businesses on their overall incentive strategy for their employees, distributors and/or customers. She believes in a needs-based sales approach and prefers to spend time up-front with her clients and prospective clients on understanding the goals, objectives and culture of their organization. Using her experience, knowledge and research of the business climate and incentive industry she makes sure that the incentive solutions she proposes are ultimately the right fit for the client.

Background: Daniel helps organizations with all aspects of incentive and motivation strategies to enable employees, channel members and/or customers to perform and produce at higher levels. Considering elements such as corporate culture, employee/customer demographics, competition and budget constraints she helps organizations select the right incentive solution and execute the appropriate motivation strategy. She spends much of her time assessing the incentive and rewards market and develops appropriate resources to deliver effective solutions to businesses nationwide.

Daniel began her career focused in financial services, working for a CPA accounting firm, a small community bank and eventually for Bank of America in California. She continued on to CUNA Mutual Insurance Group where she held many positions in areas such as Pensions, ALM Education Consulting-Financial Management Services, Bondability Manager in Corporate Property & Casualty, and was assigned to the Corporate Strategic Planning Committee where she helped set strategies and goals for the Fortune 1000 company. She was appointed to the position of Director of Marketing Services in 1996. During her 17 year tenure with the organization, she was assigned many high-level corporate projects where she worked with cross-functional teams to develop and implement corporate projects for senior management. Sandi also took on a long-term consulting assignment as the acting Senior VP of Marketing and Lending for Inland Employees FCU in Hammond, Indiana. She accepted this temporary assignment in order to help revamp the entire Marketing and Lending functions from a structural, functional and customer perspective. Prior to coming to the FIRE Light Group she was the Chief Marketing Officer of another incentive solutions company in the Madison area for over 5 years.

Daniel graduated Summa Cum Laude from the University of Wisconsin with a degree in Business Administration and an emphasis in both Finance and Marketing. She has also completed designations from the American Institute of Banking (AIB), the Life Office Management Association (LOMA) and other industry associations. She has been a speaker and instructor at numerous conferences and forums during her career.

 

Arnold H. Light, CTC, Executive Consultant

Role: Focuses attention to discovering new clients and appropriate solutions to meet their incentive and special event needs.

Background: 35 years of marketing practice specializing in incentive and loyalty marketing disciplines helping multi-national corporations develop and implement B2B and B2C results oriented performance improvement programs. Has been an adjunct professor at New York University, Pratt Institute and The New School for Social Research instructing in marketing research, advertising and incentive marketing on the graduate level. Member of The Westchester Chamber of Commerce/Westchester Business Council, The Overseas Press Club, Society of Incentive Travel Executives, The Association of Incentive Marketing, The Direct Selling Association, the American Business Association, NFIB, and a charter member of Society for the Advancement of Travel for the Handicapped (SATH).

 

Kristin Briggs, Managing Director

Role: Works to develop programs for new and prospective clients both on and offline. Focuses on creating and implementing motivational programs that encompass start to finish management to aide clients in achieving their goals with a focus in Online Incentive Programs.

Background: Kristin’s experience in writing and creating online incentives and program / marketing coordination for high profile clients allows her to serve FLG clients at the highest level. Kristin joined FLG in 2001 and has been a key leader in the development of online merchandise award programs. She also serves as Managing Director of Fire Light Group’s sister company, Westchester Meetings & Events. Kristin is a graduate of the acclaimed Academy for Entrepreneurial Excellence in Westchester County.

Dustin Sorge, Senior Account Executive

Role: Responsible for account management client incentive strategies including incentive travel and online merchandise reward programs. Dustin provides service for key account travel programs from inception through on-site quality assurance and program delivery through back-end wrap-up including billing and program success measurement. He is responsible for on-going client services support and online incentive technical support and sales.

Background: Dustin has over 10 years of extensive customer service experience specializing in customer relations and quality assurance. After attending The University of Wisconsin – Milwaukee for architecture and eastern religion, he took a job in accounting and account management giving him the training needed to work both travel and online programs from start to finish. His diverse background has afforded him skills, education and training in human resources, accounting, customer service, sales and marketing. Dustin possesses the tools required to build and manage a long term account relationship.

Anjee M. Sorge, Director of Operations

Role: Project Management and Accounts Payable/Receivable. Anjee handles most of the accounting for FLG. She assists in the development and implementation of incentive programs from RFP through ROI. She also handles event planning, online registration management, website maintenence and design, and general customer service.

Background: Anjee has a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and has over 15 years of experience in the customer service field. She began her career with the ASU Group where she earned her State of Wisconsin Property and Casualty Insurance license and a CISR designation. After taking this position, she quickly began implementing new procedures for policy writing and renewal, increasing efficiency by over 60%. Before coming to FLG, she had taken a position with another Madison incentive marketing firm where she assisted in travel incentive development, overall customer service and office management.
